Quick Dial is the shortcut list that appears below the dialing keypad. Use it for the people you call most often, so you can reach them in a single click.
To add someone to Quick Dial, mark them as a favorite. This works for colleagues as well as external contacts — clients, cell numbers, suppliers.
Adding a favorite
1. Open your contact list
From the Dashboard, click the Contacts tile.
2. Click the contact
Use the search bar at the top, or scroll through the list. Click the contact's row to open their record — not the call or message buttons on the right.
3. Check the star, then save
In the record, turn on the Add to favorites star at the bottom of the form — it turns orange. Then click Save. Without this step, the favorite is not kept.
4. Check the keypad
Go to Keypad. Your favorites appear under QUICK DIAL, each with a call button on the right. Colleagues show an availability badge; external numbers appear without one.
Removing a favorite
Open the contact's record again, turn the star off, then click Save. The contact disappears from Quick Dial.
Good to know
Don't forget to save. Checking the star isn't enough — you have to save click Save for the change to take effect. This is the most common thing people miss.
You can see your colleagues' status. For a colleague, a colored dot and a label (OFF CALL, for example) show whether they are available or already on a call. External numbers show no status, since they are not part of the phone system.
It works for any contact. Colleagues, shared company contacts, and external numbers you created yourself.
The two buttons in the contact list. The phone button calls the contact directly. The envelope button opens the Messages tab — it does not send an email.
